CASA
Court Appointed Special Advocates
Serving Burnet, Llano, Lampassas, Blanco, San Saba and Mason counties.

Child abuse and neglect is not easy to deal with for anyone - especially not the children who experience it.

The CASA program trains volunteers to act as a child's voice in court. State assigned caseworkers  are often over burdened and may not always be able to devote as much time and perseverance as needed to each child.

That's where CASA volunteers come in. They research each assigned case extensively, and provide to the court much needed information that can help determine what actions are in the child's best interest, information that might have been overlooked if not for the extra pair of hands, extra pair of eyes and the extra voice provided by caring people who want to make a difference.

Don't let another child fall through the cracks.
