The Helping Center

Whether it is the loss of a job, an unexpected illness, fire or even severe weather, there are times we find ourselves unprepared. The Marble Falls Helping Center provides emergency aid in the form of fans, heaters and blankets, food, clothing and even help toward utility and medical bills to families and individuals in such times of need.

Established in 1987, the Helping Center's building is owned out right and employees only two paid part time staff members, the rest of the staff is strictly volunteer. Sue Kennedy is the director. Funding comes from area churches, community organizations such as the Kiwanas and Lions Clubs and of course from individuals.

The Center is always in need of donations and volunteers, please contact the Helping Center at 693-5689 to find out how you can help.
