Public Libraries
In house volunteer opportunities abound at the Marble Falls Public Library. Volunteers shelve books, do repairs, man the information desk and circulation desk, put together kid's packets for summer reading club, check in books and help with story hour among other things. We've had over 4000 volunteer hours donated in the last year!
The Friends of the Marble Falls Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports this library. The Library Thrift Shop is the major fund raising project of the Friends. Volunteers are used extensively in this operation as well as othe special projects throughout the year.
A volunteer application is available at the Library Information Desk. Our volunteer coordinator will gladly match your time and talents to the Library's needs.
The Marble Falls Public Library is located at 101 Main Street. You can call the library at 693-3023.
The newly redesigned Kingsland Library also depends on volunteers and donations to provide services to Llano County. The Kingsland Library is located on Hwy 1431 and can be reached at 388-3170.
