The Seton Fund |
With Seton Highland Lakes, the dream of a hospital in our neighborhood has been realized.
Seton has a long tradition of community service that began in 1617, in France with Vincent de Paul. Elizabeth Ann Seton brought this tradition to America, opening the Seton Infirmary in Austin in 1902.
Seton Highland Lakes carries on that tradition, right here in the Hill Country, with a comprehensive health care facility that includes a 42 bed acute care hospital, cardiology testing, day surgery, sports medicine, vision care, therapy for cancer patients, a full service, 24 hour laboratory and more:
24 hour Emergency Center, staffed with ER specialists
Special Care Units for patients needing intensive care
Operating rooms able to handle a variety of surgical procedures
Clinical and diagnostic treatment services
Home Health and Hospice care for terminally ill patients and their families
Seton relies on community generosity and compassion to maintain its high quality programs and continued care for the disadvantaged. Through your gifts of charitable contributions, the Seton Healthcare Network and Seton Highland Lakes will succeed in their mission to better the health of Central Texans.
